Ecuador Rebels Routed.

New York Times 100 years ago today, October 24, 1912:
Alfaro Adherents Fail In Attacking Town In Esmeraldas.
    GUAYAQUIL Ecuador, Oct. 23.— Col. Savedra and Col. Bustamente, who fought under Gen. Flavio Alfaro in the last revolution, recently attacked the town of Limones, in the province of Esmeraldas, according to the Telegrafo. After a sharp skirmish the rebels were defeated by troops under Lieut. Reyes, leaving several killed behind.
    The Governor of Esmeraldas has ordered the troops to pursue the rebels and drive them out of the country.
