Arms For Mexico In Cuba.

New York Times 100 years ago today, October 19, 1912:
Madero's Government Wants Them Unloaded There for Safe Keeping.

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct. 18.— The French liner La Navarre arrived here this morning with a large shipment of arms for Mexico.
The Mexican Government has asked the Cuban Government to permit the unloading of the arms here temporarily, fearing that they might fall into the hands of revolutionists. The arms were consigned to Vera Cruz.
The Cuban State Department will probably grant Mexico's request, whereupon the arms will be removed to Morro Castle until the Mexican Government orders them transferred.
