Convoying Greeks From America.

New York Times 100 years ago today, October 18, 1912:
ALGIERS, Oct. 17.— An escort of four Greek destroyers is convoying the Greek steamer Macedonia, which has on board a number of Greeks, Bulgarians, and Servians, who are returning from America to join their regiments to fight against the Turks. She carries also a large cargo of ammunition.
The Macedonia arrived here last night from New York and found the four destroyers, recently purchased by Greece in England, waiting to accompany her on her voyage.
