King Nicholas With His Army.

New York Times 100 years ago today, October 9, 1912:
CETTINJE, Oct. 8— King Nicholas, with his second son, Prince Mirko, left the capital at noon to-day for the army headquarters at Podgoritza, to the accompaniment of guns thundering, bells pealing, and crowds cheering.
The Ministers of the allied Balkan States saw the King off.
Before his departure the King received the Russian and Austrian Ministers, who jointly made a last effort for the maintenance of peace.
