Treaty Seems Likely to be Signed Within Forty-eight Hours.

GENEVA, Oct. 6.— Signor Bertolini, the Italian Peace Envoy, returned unexpectedly to Ouchy this morning, armed with full plenipotentiary powers. He was followed at noon by Seiffeddin Bey.
A three-hour official conference followed. It is believed that peace will be signed within the next forty-eight hours.
