Helena of Italy, Daughter of King Nicholas, Watching Anxiously.
ROME, Oct. 12.— The stand of Montenegro in the Balkan situation has caused great enthusiasm here. Some volunteers have crossed the Adriatic Sea to join in the fighting against the Turks.
Queen Helena, daughter of King Nicholas of Montenegro, is following events in her mother country with anxiety. She is reported to have said that she regretted that her position as Queen of Italy prevented her being at her father's side on the battlefield.
