Ward Price Reports Tchatalja Forces Idle and Only Occasional Shots.
By WARD PRICE.
By Marconi Transatlantic Wireless Telegraph to The New York Times.
Dispatch to The London Dally Mail.
CONSTANTINOPLE, NOV. 15. — The Porte is still awaiting a reply from Bulgaria to its demand for a suspension of hostilities. after which a formal settlement of the terms of peace will be undertaken.
Meanwhile, and presumably until that reply is given, the armies lie at the Tchatalja lines with no more than an occasional exchange of shells.
I went out to-day to another point on the lines. Now and then a Turkish battery near by would fire a round at an invisible mark, and from the north toward Derkos there was at times a fitful cannonade, but as yet there are no signs of the fierce general attack which the London newspapers describe to us from the Bulgarian side as having taken place a week ago.
