Servians Near The Adriatic.

New York Times 100 years ago today, November 17, 1912:
Occupation of a Port Is Hourly Expected in Uskub.
USKUB, Nov. 16.— Headquarters has received a report that a Servian troop is close to the Adriatic and that the occupation of one or more ports is hourly expected.
The difficulties of the country are enormous but the Albanians have received the Servians well, delivering over their arms and furnishing supplies.
Since Adrianople has been surrounded by Servian troops there have been two Turkish sorties, both of which were repulsed. In the first the Tucks lost 270 men and the Servians 24; in the second the Turks lost 130 men, the Servians 12.
