Terms Agreed On In Peking for Submission to the Bankers.
By Marconi Transatlantic Wireless Telegraph to The New York Times.
LONDON, Monday, Dec. 9.— The Times correspondent at Peking says it is understood that after nearly a fortnight's negotiation the Minister of Finance has practically settled with the six-power group the general outlines of an agreement for a loan not to exceed $125,000,000. When the terms have been approved by the legations concerned they will be telegraphed for consideration to the representatives of the groups who meet in London on Friday.
"While it is satisfactory to record that an agreement has been attained between the Chinese Government and the bankers," the correspondent says, "apprehension remains that the conditions, which are not yet disclosed, may not prove to be acceptable to all the Governments interested. There is further apprehension that the home principals of the groups may not be disposed, in view of the political situation in Europe, to provide the large advances immediately required by China."
