Special Cable to The New York Times.
PANAMA, April 12.—Starting from the surface of the Pacific Ocean. Robert Fowler flew over the canal this afternoon as far as Corazel, and then back around Old Panama, landing safely in Panama Bay. The air currents were perfect, he said.
On Sunday he will carry passengers and take motion pictures of the canal. On Wednesday he will attempt a flight from the Pacific to the Atlantic.
