Nicaraguan Rebel Defeat.

New York Times 100 years ago today, October 5, 1912:
Gen. Zeledon Loses Masaya After Six Hours' Bloody Fighting.
    SAN JUAN DEL SUR, Nicaragua, Oct. 4.— It is officially reported that the rebel army under Gen. Zeledon has been defeated near La Barrabca after six hours of bloody fighting, and that the Government forces are now in possession of Masaya.
