EAGLE PASS, Texas, April 5.— Alfonso Madero, head of the Madero family, conferred here yesterday with Gov. Carranza of Coahuila.
LAREDO, Texas, April 5.— Full details of the three-day battle between Federals and Carranzistas at Saltillo, Mexico, March 22, 23 and 24, received here to-day, state the number killed was 269. The Federal loss was small, compared to that of the rebels, it is asserted.
