New French Bond Issue.

New York Times 100 years ago today, April 5, 1913:
$20,000,000 in State Railway 4s to be Offered April 10.
By Marconi Transatlantic Wireless Telegraph to The New York Times.
PARIS, Saturday, April 5.— The announcement appears in this morning's newspapers that subscriptions will be received on April 10 for a new issue of $20,000,000 of 4 per cent. State railway bonds, redeemable within forty-nine years.
It is certain that the issue, which is in 200,000 bonds of $100 each, will be largely oversubscribed, as was the case with the State railway issue last year, the rate interest being the highest offered in France on any State investment.
