PARIS, Oct. 21.— In a further interview with The New York Times correspondent to-day, Gen. Diaz stated that he had so far received no direct communication whatever from Mexico, although he was following events there with the greatest interest. He said he could not make any forecast as to their outcome nor obtain any adequate appreciation of the real situation, as reports in the press were too scanty and contradictory.
Asked as to his plans, the deposed Mexican President said he intended to remain here for the present.
