Tamaulipas Capital Taken.

New York Times 100 years ago today, February 14, 1913:
Rebels Led by Major Trevino Said to Have Captured the City.
BROWNSVILLE, Texas, Feb. 13.— Reports received to-night at Matamoras. Mexico, say that Victoria, the capital of the State of Tamaulipas, has been captured by a rebel band, led by Maj. Refugio Trevino, nephew of Gen. Geronimo Trevino, Commander in Chief of the Federal troops in Northern Mexico.
The dispatch did not indicate whether resistance was offered or not.
