Germany Buys Dirigible.

New York Times 100 years ago today, July 16, 1912:
Army Purchases Great Siemens-Schuckert Non-Rigid Airship.
    BERLIN, July 15.— The German army authorities to-day completed the purchase of the Siemens-Schuckert dirigible balloon, the greatest non-rigid airship in the world.
    It has a speed of over forty-three miles an hour, and is to he used for military purposes.
