Italian Forces at Misrata Dislodge Harassing Body of the Foe.
MISRATA, Tripoli, July 21.— Gen. Farra attempted to-day to dislodge a large body of Turks which had been harassing the region from the oasis near Misrata. The enemy, however, made a tenacious stand in the desert beyond, and a fierce engagement ensued.
The Turks were forced to retreat after four hours' sharp fighting, and suffered heavy losses. The Italian casualties numbered 19 killed and 87 wounded.
