Committeeman Stanley of Kansas Says They Have No Right on Ticket.
Special to The New York Times.
NEWTON, Kan., July 17.— A temporary restraining order was issued by Judge C. E. Branine in the District Court here today enjoining every County Clerk in Kansas from printing on the official primary ballot under the head of the Republican Party those candidates for Presidential Electors who have openly declared they would support Roosevelt if elected.
The case was brought through Republican National Committeeman Fred Stanley in the name of R. A. Marks and others, Electors. Eight candidates named before the Chicago Convention have declared they will not support Taft if elected.
"We claim." said Stanley, "that they have no more right on the Republican ticket than the Democrats or any other party candidates,"
The case will be heard at Hutchinson on July 22.
