Judge Parker Thinks Roosevelt Will Help Governor Win.
POUGHKEEPSIE, N. Y., July 18.— Alton E. Parker, who came to Poughkeepsie to-day to attend a luncheon or the Democratic County Committee of Dutchess County, said that Roosevelt would help Wilson to the Presidential chair.
"Mr, Roosevelt has a different proposition than usual," said Judge Parker. "Mr. Roosevelt fighting within his own party for a representation and Roosevelt fighting the entire party are two different things. Mr. Roosevelt has a large following, it is true, and he is bound to draw more votes from the Republican Party than he will get from the Democratic side. That all helps Wilson, without question."
