Americans in Fear of Shells.

New York Times 100 years ago today, March 7, 1913:
GUAYMAS, Sonora, Mexico, March 6.— Grave anxiety among the 350 American residents of this seaport was aroused today by reports that the Federal Government was to send the gunboat Guerrero up the coast to shell the town. Urgent representations are being made to delay the United States cruiser Colorado, which arrived here Tuesday night, but is scheduled to leave to-morrow night.
