Messages Exchanged Between Eiffel Tower and Heart of Africa.

PARIS, March 3.— At a council of Ministers to-day the Minister of the Colonies informed his colleagues that wireless messages were exchanged yesterday for the flrst time between the Eiffel Tower and Lake Chad in Central Africa.
The distance is about 2,810 miles.
