Leaving Egypt for Italy — Talk of Mexico's Finances.
CAIRO. March 9.— Gen. Porfirio Diaz, ex-President of Mexico, left here to-day for Alexandria. From there he will proceed to Italy.
LONDON, March 10.— Gen. Diaz, before leaving Cairo, said that he strongly disapproved of the killing of Madero, according to a dispatch from that city to The Express. Gen. Diaz regards the present situation in Mexico as very grave, especially with reference to finance. When he resigned, he says, there were $20,000,000 in the Treasury. When Madero was deposed there remained only the sum of $45,000. He added: "I learn on good authority that Mexico intends to float a loan of $50,000,000."
