Natives and Foreigners Await Statement of Attitude Toward Mexico.
Special Cable to The New York Times.
MEXICO CITY, March 4.— The Government is awaiting a declaration from President Wilson as to the future attitude of the United States toward Mexico. It is believed this will have a great effect here. Foreigners who are planning to leave the country are waiting for the same statement to determine whether it is advisable to leave.
No anti-American feeling is shown here.
The public are pleased with what they hear of Wilson. The majority of the papers this morning devoted a full page to the coming inauguration. Pictures of the Wilson and Taft families were printed on the front pages.
