Costa Rica Wants Treaty.

New York Times 100 years ago today, August 9, 1913:
Following Salvador, Republic Is Willing to Enter Into Peace Compact
    WASHINGTON, Aug. 8.— Following the example set yesterday by Salvador. Costa Rica notified the State Department to-day of its willingness to enter into a treaty with the United States based upon Secretary Bryan's international peace plan.
    This, the second of the proposed treaties, will be signed in Washington shortly.
