New German Dreadnought.

New York Times 100 years ago today, March 2, 1913:
The Koenig Will Be the First Ship to Carry 14-Inch Guns.
    WILHELMSHAFEN, March 1.— A new dreadnought for the German Navy was launched here to-day in the presence of Emperor William. She will be the first warship to carry a battery of 14-inch guns.
    Her dimensions have not been made public, but it is reported that she displaces 25,000 tons. She was christened the König.
