Ismail Kemal Bey Refuses to Treat Albanian Suggestion Seriously.
By Marconi Transatlantic Wireless Telegraph to The New York Times.
LONDON, May 11.— Ismail Kemal Bey, when interviewed to-day in reference to the suggestion that Col. Roosevelt be invited to become a candidate for the throne of Albania, said that it arose through the correspondent of an American newspaper asking him whether he thought the ex-President could perform the duties of the King of Albania.
He said he preferred to treat the suggestion as a joke and did not think it likely to receive serious consideration.
