Spain Says He Has — Paris Hears He Still Is in France.
PARIS, May 31.— According to a dispatch from Corunna, Spain, the newspaper La Voz de Galicia says that Gen. Porfirio Diaz is proceeding to Mexico aboard the French line steamer Espagne. The Mexican Consul in Corunna, the paper adds, is understood to have received letters addressed to the ex-President aboard the Espagne.
A member of the Diaz household in Paris, however, denied to-day that Gen. Diaz was leaving Europe on the Espagne. The former President, he said, had gone on a short visit to his son in the country near this city.
