HAVANA, July 31.— The Cuban Government has been unofficially warned that if the anti-Huerta demonstrations are not curbed Mexico will retaliate by imprisoning and otherwise maltreating Cubans.
Vasquez Gomez sailed for Florida suddenly to-day, after announcing that he intended to stay here indefinitely.
The Peruvian poet, Jossantos Chocano, issued another signed statement to the newspapers to-night asserting that Ambassador Wilson knew all about how Madero was assassinated. He offers to prove his statements.
