American Consul Requests That a Gunboat Be Sent to Yucatan Port.
MEXICO CITY, Aug. 9.— Wilbur T. Gracey, United States Consul at Progress Yucatan, has requested that the gunboat Wheeling, which is patrolling the lower Gulf Coast, be sent to Progreso, where Americans are said to be in danger.
