New York Times 100 years ago today, November 23, 1912:
Albanian Leader, However, Had Been Landed at Durazzo.
VIENNA, Nov. 22.— A wireless dispatch received at Trieste from the steamer Graf Wurmbrand says that two Greek torpedo boats searched her off Durazzo for contraband. The Albanian leader, Ismail Kemal, who had been aboard the Graf Wurmbrand, and who is to proclaim the independence of Albania, had already landed with his followers when the search was made.
The dispatch added that up to noon today neither Servians nor Montenegrins had appeared at Durazzo.
