Turkish Gunboat Sunk.

New York Times 100 years ago today, November 24, 1912:
Attacked by Greek Torpedo Boat, the Crew Opened the Stopcocks.
ATHENS, Nov. 23.— A Greek torpedo boat entered the harbor of Alvala today and attacked a Turkish gunboat there.
On the appearance of the Greeks the Turkish sailors abandoned the gunboat after opening the vessel's stopcocks. Greek marines went on board, but were unable to stop the inrush of water. They then blew up the gunboat with a torpedo.
