Lives of Europeans Threatened — Two German Gunboats There.
COLOGNE, Dec. 10.— The lives of Europeans along the River Sestos in Liberia are threatened by Liberian soldiers, according to a dispatch to the Cologne Gazette from Monrovia. It adds that the Europeans are preparing to leave the country.
The German gunboat Panther is lying at anchor before the town of Sestos, and the German gunboat Eber is off Monrovia.
