Greek Outrages Reported.

New York Times 100 years ago today, December 1, 1912:
Berlin Gets Stories of Maltreatment of Jews in Macedonia.
Special Cable to The New York Times.
BERLIN, Nov. 30.— The Central Jewish Relief League of Germany, which acts for American Jews in European and Oriental philanthropic work, is receiving circumstantial accounts of the maltreatment of Jews by the conquering Greek soldiers at Salonika and other points in European Turkey.
Robbery, pillage, and worse seems to have occurred at many points to a degree which recalls the horrors of Kishineff, and fears are expressed in prominent German Jewish circles that the rĂ©gime of the Greek Catholic Church in the conquered provinces may not be as pleasant even as under the Moslems.
