Alarm For Czarevitch.

New York Times 100 years ago today, November 5, 1912:
Physicians' Report Indicates Tuberculosis of the Bone.
By Marconi Transatlantic Wireless Telegraph to The New York Times.
LONDON, Tuesday, Nov. 5.— The St. Petersburg correspondent of The Times says the long-awaited statement regarding the Czarevitch's illness causes deep consternation among the Russians. Even to the uninitiated mind it is evident that the Prince's condition is likely to cause much anxiety in the future.
The doctors are still very pessimistic, and the carefully worded report unhappily, leaves little doubt that the patient suffers an organic defect in the blood and doubtless also tuberculosis in the leg.
