French Battleship Launched.

New York Times 100 years ago today, November 8, 1912:
ST. NAZAIRE, Nov. 7.— France's new battleship, La France, was launched here to-day and was named by Minister or Marine Delcassé. The vessel is a sister-ship of the Paris, but will be equipped with heavier guns. The two warships of this class were provided for in the 1911 estimates, and the keel of the France was laid down in August of last year.
