We Still Hold Mena.

New York Times 100 years ago today, November 7, 1912:
Not Under Taft's Orders — Zone Court Defers Deciding on Release.
Special Cable to The New York Times.
    PANAMA, Nov. 7.— The Zone Supreme Court this afternoon took the applications for the issue of habeas corpus writs for the release of the Nicaraguan rebel leader, Gen. Mena, and his son, Daniel, under advisement until Monday.
    No charge against them was produced, but they are being held on the orders of President Taft.
