Flying To St. Petersburg.

New York Times 100 years ago today, June 16, 1913:
Brindejonc des Moulinais Reaches Dvinsk, Where He Breaks Wheel.
WARSAW, June 13.— The French aviator Marcel G. Brindejonc des Moulinais, who recently flew from Paris to Warsaw, a distance of 933 miles, at an average speed of ninety-three miles an hour, continued his trip to St. Petersburg at 4:48 o'clock this morning. A heavy wind was blowing at the time. His first stop was at Vilna, in Lithuania, about 225 miles northeast of Warsaw, where he replenished his tanks.

DVINSK, Russia, June 13.— Brindejonc des Moulinais landed at Vilna at 9 o'clock in the morning and resumed his journey at 1:30 P.M. He made a second landing at Dvinsk, but broke a wheel by alighting too suddenly. If repairs can be made in time he will continue his flight to St. Petersburg on Monday.
