Takes Two Up 15,480 Feet.

New York Times 100 years ago today, June 16, 1913:
    VIENNA, June 15.— The French aviator Edmund Perryon, who holds the world's altitude record for an aeroplane, both for pilot and pilot and one passenger, to-day broke the world's record carrying two passengers. He reached a height of 15,480 feet. The record with one passenger is 16,368 feet.
