Taft Here This Week.

Will Attend the Launching of the Battleship New York.

    WASHINGTON, Oct. 26.— President Taft is expected to return to the White House to-morrow morning and enter on the task of preparing his annual message to Congress. He will leave here on the midnight train Tuesday for New York and will attend the launching of the battleship New York Wednesday at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
    At the dinner of the employes of the Brooklyn Navy Yard at the Thirteenth Regiment Armory on Wednesday evening, he will make a speech. The President will return to Washington that night, and on Friday, after making a speech at Newark in the afternoon, will go to New York and spend Sunday with his brother, Henry W. Taft, at the latter's residence, on West Forty-eighth Street.
