Troops Nearing Galveston.

New York Times 100 years ago today, February 24, 1913:
    GALVESTON, Texas, Feb. 23.— Temporary camping grounds at the Fort Crockett military reservation are in readiness for the Fifth Brigade, ordered to assemble here. The first of the special troop trains is expected to reach Galveston to-morrow afternoon.
    Orders were Issued to-day to the Third Cavalry, located at Fort Sam Houston and Fort Wingate, to entrain immediately for Galveston.
