Alien Says: "Roosevelt."

New York Times 100 years ago today, July 21, 1912:
Who'd Take Office if President Should Die, Asks Naturalizing Judge.
CHICAGO, July 20.— John Roach is today a full-fledged citizen of the United States even though his answers in regard to Presidential succession were not accurate.
Roach was examined in Judge Bentano's court as to his qualifications to become a citizen.
"In the event of the death of the President of the United States who would take his place?" was one of the Questions put to him.
    "Roosevelt," he answered promptly.
The answer drew a smile from the Judge, who signed the court order admitting him.
