Attacking Dardanelles.

New York Times 100 years ago today, July 19, 1912:
Strong Cannonade Proceeding — Italians May Be Engaged with Fort.
    CONSTANTINOPLE, Friday, July 19.— A strong cannonade is proceeding in the direction of Kum Kaleh, which is at the southern entrance of the Dardanelles.
    It is not known whether Italian warships are engaging the fort.
