Women Voters For Wilson.

New York Times 100 years ago today, July 25, 1912:
Majority Will Support Him, Says California Leader.
Special to The Ncw York Times.
LOS ANGELES, Cal., July 24.— Miss Mary Foy, President of the California Woman's Democratic League, said to-day that the majority of women in California would vote for Wilson.
"A very large number of women who have registered as Republicans will not vote for President Taft," said Miss Foy, "both because of what occurred at Chicago and of their radical principles. They are now making inquiries regarding the career and principles of Gov. Wilson, and we're happy to assure them of his splendid manhood, scholarship, and statesmanship."
