Army In Royalist Plot.

New York Times 100 years ago today, July 21, 1912:
Several Portuguese Officers Arrested for Connection with Conspiracy.
    LISBON, July 21.— Conditions are peaceful to-night at both Lisbon and Oporto.
    Flying columns of republican troops continue the search in the north for Royalist bands, but no more have been found. Several army officers have been arrested, charged with complicity in the Monarchist plot.
    The Minister of War says that the Government has mobilized 5,500 men and spent $2,200,000 to quell the rising.
