Brazil To Have Air Fleet.

New York Times 100 years ago today, December 21, 1912:
Purchase of Twenty-one Flying Machines Authorized by Bill.
Special Cable to The New York Times.
    RIO JANEIRO, Dec. 20.—A bill was passed by the Chamber yesterday authorizing the purchase of three dirigibles, twelve aeroplanes, six hydro-aeroplanes, and a battery of guns to use against aeroplanes.
    Brazil is the first nation in South America to provide for an extensive war air fleet.
