Warns Turkey War Is Useless.

New York Times 100 years ago today, December 24, 1912:
Bulgarian Premier Intimates Allies Won't Back Down.
SOFIA, Dec. 28.— Addressing the Chamber of Deputies to-day. Premier Güchkoff said that events at the peace conference had proved the emptiness of the reports that the Balkan allies had been shaken. It was to Turkey's interest, he declared, to cease a useless war with her future neighbors and to conclude a lasting peace as quickly as possible.
"You may rest assured." the Premier concluded, "that the Bulgarian Government will do everything to arrange a peace corresponding to the enormous sacrifices the country has made."
