Powers Forbid Renewal Of War.

To Make Direct Representations to the Porte and to the Peace Delegates in London.

Special Cable to The New York Times.
    BERLIN, Jan. 7.— The New York Times correspondent is officially authorized to state that the powers have agreed to take immediate joint action with a view to giving Turkey to understand that they would view a resumption of hostilities with the utmost displeasure.
    The action of the powers will take the form of identical steps at Constantinople and London.
    At the Turkish capital the representations will be made directly to the Porte, and in London to the Turkish peace delegates by members of the Ambassadors' conference.
