Deneen Sticks To G.O.P.

Governor Says He Has No Interest in Roosevelt or the New Party.

    CHICAGO. July 11.—Gov. Deneen, at the close of a four-hour conference to-day with his Chicago aids, sent word to the Roosevelt leaders that he would not bolt the regular Republican ticket. He also told his callers that he was not interested in what Roosevelt intended to do.
    Medill McConnick declared that the Roosevelt organizations have been perfected in fifty-six of the 102 counties. A call for conference of Rooseveltians has been issued for Monday. Then it will be decided when to hold the State convention to select delegates, to the National third party birth on Aug. 5.
