Rebels Said to Have Captured the General Guerrero and a Steamer.
SAN DIEGO, Cal., Aug. 21.— The Mexican Gunboat, General Guerrero, in charge of Commander Oton Blanco, and the steamer Benito Juarez, owned by the Compania Naiviera del Pacifico, have been captured by the rebels, according to private advices to-day from Mazatlan. The gunboat carries a crew of 108 officers and men, and is equipped with four six-inch and two four-inch guns, according to Leon Gomez. Mexican Consul here.
