And 206 Are Sent to Prison for a Mutiny at Tashkent.
TASHKENT, Asiatic Russia, Aug. 22.— Two-hundred and twenty-eight Russian non-commissioned officers and soldiers were tried by court-martial in the sappers' camp here to-day on the charge of mutiny.
Fifteen were sentenced to be hanged, seven were acquitted, and 209 were sent to jail for varying terms.
